Healthcare Video
This video is very emotional and was created using still photographs. There is no video footage in the film. It is around 3 minutes long. Please watch and tell me what you think!
This is really amazing. I don't know if I would have realized they were "only" photographs if it hadn't been pointed out up front. The visual effects (lighting, movement, composition) are compelling...and dare I say, flawless?
The only constructive criticism I have has to do with the age of the narrator. It required a suspension of disbelief that I found distracting. If the narration voice was even an older version of the "boy" reflecting back to that point in his life, it would have been more convincing for me personally.
Having said that, I am impressed and inspired by the use of photography and visual elements in this well-communicated message.
I was born in Arizona and raised in Utah. My Birth Certificate says "Coconino County, AZ. There wasn't even a town in the area when I was born. I guess my father, who I never knew, was working construction at the time the Glen Canyon damn was built. He was building homes for the "damn" construction workers. The homes later became the town of Paige, AZ.
I am married with three children and one grandson. My children are all grown. I spent four years in the US Navy. I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Design and from Utah Valley University with a degree in Graphic Communications.
Now I spend time in my small but well equipped studio doing work for large and small clients. I love working with start-ups because of the creative and go-forward energy that emanates from the founders. I have been there many times.
I have been playing my guitars a lot lately and wrote a song recently titled "The Ones I love the Most". Perhaps I will publish the recording here someday.
